Rida Kadri

Program Coordinator, Center for Youth Political Participation, Rutgers Democracy Lab

Rida Kadri is a Program Coordinator for civic engagement with the Rutgers Democracy Lab and the Center for Youth Political Participation. In her role, she manages the RU Voting and RU Ready programs to foster an understanding of political participation to students on campus and across the state of New Jersey. Before joining the RDL team, Rida graduated summa cum laude from the Rutgers University Honors College and Douglass College with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Sociology. 

At Rutgers, she was an Eagleton Undergraduate Associate, President of the Political Science Honor Society, and Douglass Representative to the Student Assembly. She was also a recipient of the Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence, Edward McNall Burns Scholar Award in Political Science, and Rutgers-Eagleton Washington Award where she interned in D.C. with the House of Representatives in 2025. In addition, she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the Matthew Leydt Society.
