2026 National Civics Bee

The Rutgers Democracy Lab is proud to be partnering with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation to host a nonpartisan civics competition that encourages young Americans to engage in civics and contribute to their communities.

About the Bee

The 2026 New Jersey state finals for the National Civics Bee will take place on July 8, 2026 at the Livingston Student Center on the Rutgers-New Brunswick Campus. Doors will open at 11 am, with the competition beginning promptly at 12 pm. Registration is open to the public, but all attendees must register in advance to gain entry to the event.
