Wesley Anderson

Bio
Wesley Anderson is the Business Manager at the Rutgers Democracy Lab, where he plays a key role in budgeting, hiring processes, and daily operations to support the Lab's research, programming, and strategic initiatives.
Before taking on this role, he served as the Department Administrator in the School of Arts and Sciences Dean's Office at Rutgers University for six years. In that position, he managed budgets, provided support to faculty and staff, and worked to improve administrative and financial processes across multiple departments.
Wesley holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Rutgers–Camden and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Rutgers–New Brunswick. His MPA capstone project focused on the impact of algorithmic bias in education, which sparked his broader interest in how artificial intelligence is shaping society. With a background in public finance and a growing focus on technology policy, he is particularly interested in how society can tackle challenges such as misinformation in digital spaces.
