Bio
Rachel Druker is the Program Coordinator for the Center for Youth Political Participation (CYPP) and the Rutgers Democracy Lab (RDL). In this role, she oversees the RU Voting Ambassadors and supports initiatives such as RU Ready, along with coordinating civic engagement events and programming.
Rachel holds a Master’s degree in Social Justice Education with a concentration in Higher Education from UMass Amherst and a B.A. in Sociology with a minor in History from Montclair State University. Before joining Rutgers, she developed and managed a youth mentoring program for refugees aged 16–24 at a local resettlement agency and taught sociology as an adjunct professor at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Rachel is passionate about civic engagement, youth empowerment, and creating inclusive learning spaces. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has been passionate about youth empowerment and fostering inclusive spaces that encourage individuals to connect across differences.
