About Megan Coyne

Megan Coyne is a digital strategist with nearly a decade of experience in political communications. Most recently, she served as Deputy Director of Platforms in the White House, where she led digital content creation and publishing for the White House social media accounts across platforms with a combined audience of 31 million followers. In this role, Megan played a pivotal role in crafting a unique voice for the Biden-Harris Administration, led rapid response during domestic and international crises, and launched the first-ever White House Reddit account. Prior to her work in the White House Office of Digital Strategy, she served as Social Media Director in the Office of Governor Phil Murphy – where she transformed the New Jersey X account into a viral sensation, established the online voices of the Governor and First Lady, and played a key role in COVID-19 communication. In 2022, Megan was named to Forbes 30 Under 30 for her innovative work in digital strategy. She is a 2019 graduate of Rutgers University with a B.A. in Political Science.
